Hiector is an entire male born 9th July 2020.
He is a loving boy and is usually very well behaved.
He is fully house trained and loves walks although he walks best when wearing his halti.
He loves watching TV but sometimes gets over excited when animals are on screen. He knows different programmes
and on hearing the theme tunes will come running to watch.
He is really good with our grandsons who are 5 and 2 and is usually calm and patient around them and other children.
He has problems with adult visitors to the home and can be very loud and boisterous.
As we are foster carers this can cause problems with social workers and other professionals visiting our home.
He does like the sound of his own voice sometimes so a quieter home would suit him best.
He can also be difficult to groom and doesn't like his legs and feet being clipped although this is getting better

Iggy is 5 in April IgI
Iggy likes to get up and go for a big walk in the morning, but he also loves to Sleep, he loves cuddles and will happily sit with his head on your Knee and watch a film.
His recall is excellent off the lead, he will walk on the lead nicely but he is strong, he would ideally need to go to someone who has experience of the Schnauzer Breed.
He will bark at new people who come into the house but will settle for a treat, he lives with another small dog ( girl) and we have had no issues between them, she steals his food and he is fine with it. He is very well behaved in the house and house trained. He will cry for treats like he has never ever been fed!!
He has not been neutered, he is used to being groomed and has no problems with this. He really is a lovely dog.

To the right are just a few photos of our “retired” girls who have settled into their new life of “loving family member” very well. Some have become couch potatoes and others quite the adventurers. We sometimes have older girls ready for a “fire side” home.
Please remember that these girls are RETIRED and are not to be bred from EVER again. They are not just an easier/cheaper option than a new puppy and are used to having someone around most of the time. While they adapt very well, patience is the key while they get used to their new surroundings
